Its annoyingly interesting. Wonderpets in Malaysian langguage. I used to hate most of the Malay dubbed version cartoons esp Ultraman but this one, i just can’t resist and proud to say, im a fan of Wonderpets 😀
* Note: Perhaps bcoz the way the cartoon’s are made is like a real life cartoon so its an interresting technique for broadcaster to analyze its method hehe see..i don’t just watch ;P
Gosh! I just can’t stop laughing listening to the song. Strange enough, i came to like it despite my age hehe. But really, who could resist this 3 cute little fella..???
Well, im sure Aliza is with me on this. So yeah, when i listened to the english version, i preferred the Malay version better haha. Sewiusly funny….!!!
* * *
Oh btw, ive just watched some of the videos that Aliza puts in her blog…its about a deaf violin player wannabes who played the violin even though it was badly damaged..waahh..sedih…!!! Inspirational betul..hoho I want to be different!! 😀
and yeah..Chad Vader have a date haha he’s just so Vader-ful

p/s: Thanks to Mr. Azman from KL for being the 100th reader haha and to someone from Los Angeles,California, US too for following my blog all the way since my exchange blog hehe didn’t thought i know, right? I dont know how you came across my blog but yeah, its nice to see some follower dropping by and of coz to my Malaysian friends either here or back in Eire 😉
yeppsy…im in cloud nine..haha..well actually its bcoz i love to see the clouds ever since i always take flights here and there. So, i came to a habit of looking at the clouds from above.
One time i saw the clouds so close to the sea that i can see its shading on the water while the rest is not clouded. How a simple cloud could make one happy, right?
Even as i took the ferry or just passing by a sunset, i could see how beautiful the clouds can be even though it was 30 degree sun shining above. Most of all, i love looking at the clouds bcoz i know that ‘someone’ is looking after me from above and knowing that always makes me smile no matter how bad the day was.
My fave clouds!

Lately ive been spending my time watching people since that everyone was busy with their own thing. Can’t blame my friends coz they have their final project to complete.
Still, i find it fascinating to see people walking past by me without knowing me and i could just see how their day are.
One of it is watching a group of little children around 5 of them wearing that cute little ‘Nabila’ scarf and a little boy taking care of his little brother in the evening while one of those kids mom watching (must be one of them coz they are almost the same age so they could not be quinplets la kan hehe)
Their smile, their innocentness and their ‘freedom’ from tv’s etc (to be able to resist tv at that time is impresive for that age), they totally reminds me of me and my siblings along with the rest of the neighbourhood kids in the quarters playing outside. Though we live like some flats but we manage to make it our playground since that we have none. The most i remember is playing water balloon and making the whole flat ‘moist’ hehehe
How simple can life be at that time. I guess you all must have your own childhood memories right ? Though my parents would doubt that i remember any of them but hey, kids remember what was the most closest to their heart ok! So, don’t spoil my memories tho i tend to forget peoples name hehe
Here’s some pics of those kids hehe ‘paparazzi’ on the loose ;P

Other than that, here’s some of the things i did lately such as visit my friends Artwork final year project. Her name is Sara, met her when i took n english course in British Council. Turn out we were in the same uni by the time we start our degree.
Out of all booth showing students final project, hers was one of the impressive booth to me bcoz everyone was doing adverts using a well known brand or something we are familiar of but she made design for her own brand which is as a make up artist and graphic designer.
Herself have been taking course, going all the way to Korea ,competitions etc and seriously her touch is amazing! Thats why i definitely going to take her as my make up artist for my dinner hehe (hopefully im still here hoho). She could make the usual make up and also art painting like some peacocks just right next to our eyes (my fave!), leopards stripes, rock style..gosh!!!
How original is that??? right? This is Sara (hey! you should have your own website by now! hehe):

And owh! my result during exchange is out. For a second i thought im going to fail but thank God i passed despite all though not really vavoom but hey for someone who never been that exposed to their systems, ok-lah hehe
My result ;P

Remeber Fara who knit my scarf just before i fly despite the loads of assignments? Well, now she’s workin on her mascom dinner dress and she’s been sewing the beads i dunno since when but gosh it sooo good to be able to make your own dress (well her mom did the dress though)
Anyway,we went out today to Queensbay Mall and went to Johhnny Steamboat..well we didnt have steamboat since there’s only two of us so we had some fried rice and chicken rice for lunch just after watching Dragonball (3 *** huhu).
Funny part is that as we walked past the exit door towards the cashier, their manager who happen to be standing next to the door said ‘Thank You’ thinking that we have finish our lunch and about to set off .
W e was confused and said that “Err..but we are paying…???” then it hit him that we havent paid haha so we said that unless we dont have to pay then “You are welcome” hehe if we were some baddies, we would have played along and walk off hoho here’s some of the not-so-bad-lah food we had:

Owh i just realize the new food for sale at Restu (one of our hostel in USM) sells Kerang Rebus hehe they put it in front of the lift for student to buy and put their money (usually its stolen, who ask them to risk that openly sigh)
Its normal in USM hostels esp where sellers would put their foods at a certain area where people can just buy it. No wonder we all get fat up hehe except me bcoz i dont like to buy without seeing the seller esp not knowing when the food was cooked though they did state when but its rather awkward to buy like that esp when we know that the money may not go to the seller’s straight sigh. But sometimes when im just too lazy to eat out so i would buy it sometimes….SOMETIMES…huhu

THANKS TO SOMEONE FROM SWEDEN FOR BEING THE 5000’TH READER IN MY EXCHANGE BLOG HEHE THOUGH YOU ARE JUST PASSING BY TO READ ABOUT MICHEAL JACKSON BECAME A MUSLIM BUT REALLY THANKFUL FOR DROPPING BY AND SO DOES TO THE REST 6 STILL COUNTING PEOPLE LATER 😉
Hello, my name is Sakiinah..we know each other before but why it seems like we don’t know? Please don’t be shy with me, i just change to another university for a few month but i study as usual so i am no different then you. Why is it you feel awkward? If you feel awkward then id feel the same so don’t shy2 ok? You can come out now, i wont bite hehe..
Gosh…!! How else can i say to them that i am still the same Sakiinah they met before? Yes, i wear pashmina now, yes i have new shoes (that i bought like 6 month ago but just started wearing it here). Yes i have a new sunglass which i bought for 2 pounds only @ RM50 and no its not Gucci and it doesnt even have any brands which btw i dont like branded stuff (i didnt even know Skecher’s is a brand , bought it like 50% of its price and bcoz it have ‘S’ word )
Perhaps bcoz my class starts next July so i don’t have class with them that makes me feel a bit distant from the rest of my coursemate’s. Still, why do I feel that awkwardness between me and them? I really don’t like doing nothing, hurm..maybe I should try join one of the class sometimes, eyh? (owh! no wonder i didnt get to meet a lot of them, i guess thats why everyone was disappearing..??)
But really, I really hope this situation doesn’t last long. So, please, any of my coursemate who’s reading this, Im still the same person you know and will never change that easily. (except my skin which is slightly whiter hehe). Now can we be friends as usual?
Yup! Thats what i felt as i ride the bus from USM to well the Ferry since that by the time i reach Butterworth, my sister fetched me at KTM (got aircond maa hehehe)
It starts with me riding the USM shuttle bus towards the USM mosque hoho dah lama x naik bas, rasa teruja plak hehee..then i took the Rapid Penang bus which is not as rapid as it used to be (or perhaps bcoz i didnt take the bus often hoho)
Still, i took almost 1 hour to reach the jetty with the aircond off and doors open and someone dangerously stands infront of the door despite the ‘NO STANDING IN FRONT OF THE DOOR’ sign..???? Gosh!!
I used to luuurvee Rapid Penang since that its more comfortable than the usual yellow Min Lan ”sardine bus’ but it doesn’t last long rupenye…they took off the aircond, radio, everything, almost like Min Lan but slightly better ja!
Somehow, i miss that freaking expensive Eireann bus which at least their service is way better than in Malaysia . huhu why can’t we be at least similar in that way? sigh…
Well anyway, my ‘tourist syndrom’ is still with me along my way back. Kept taking pictures of here and there especially on the ferry. Didn’t realize how beautiful Penang could be
It feels good to be a stranger sometime to your own country, today itself i kind of interview her on her life and all. One is a USM makcik cleaner (considered as ‘Tok’ by now) who used to sweep the area around Education school. She’s like 70 years old but been sweeping all around the School for years and now she have moved to the Art School and still sweeping but gosh she’s strong!
She told me about her Hajj when she went there in 1999, she was 50+ that time and that was the best time ever and she really felt glad to go there since that its the money she earned after years working in the factory. Imagine the journey for 50 years to finally do her Hajj.
I wish i could take her picture but she was a bit shy, but trust me, at her age, she’s still cute! hehe
Later in KTM, i met a makcik waiting for her daughter who is supposed to arrive at 4AM but she waited since the day? Im not pretty sure of her details because i was sleepy by the time she talks half way through but somehow her daughter was supposed to take the 9pm train and arrive 4am but since that its weekdays so no one could fetch her so perhaps she waited early due to transportation problem. A mother’s love. (father too, her dad was there)
I know.. i know..im weird sometimes but hey..i like to be friends with anyone any age and whoever they are i don’t really mind because everyone is unique in their own way. So, don’t be surprise if i have friends from as young as hehe below 18 till say 81 just roughly saying?
Owh yeah, i bump into two bus tour heading to Thai/Spore i think bcoz they took a different train which doesn’t look like KTM at all, its E & O but boy they were escorted by police like some VIP’S padahal kat cork biasa ja ku tengok hehe
So yeah thats pretty much the highlight of the day.Always open to many kinds of people and talk to them about their life if you have the chance because you’ll never know what you will hear from them.
Like one story i heard in the radio where they were talking about Luck, one standard 6 children got 5A’s for their UPSR and the parents promised to bring their children to London TOGETHER with TWO tuiton teacher for 1 @ 2 week …???? Lucky them!
Hehe I guess im starting to fall in love with journalism 😉
Btw,these are some of my favourite. To Wanykukikuki ‘pendrive’ hehehe ampuun yek taruk gambaq Penang. Just sharing hehe
Hehe this is one of the reason i chose ‘Mencari Sakiinah’ as the title of my new blog. One, you probably be looking for my new blog link. Two, its a place where i find peace @ ‘sakiinah’ by blogging. Nice, huh?
Anyway, the exchange blog was set up to write about my exchange experiences so now that i have finished my exchange therefore i wont have anything to blog about.
Thats why i decided to close that blog, but, you will still be able to know my updates through this blog so i guess this blog is more of exchange experience after the exchange or just purely sharing whatever i experience.
Not sure if this blog would reach almost 4000++ readers but whoever you are dropping by, i welcome you all to a part of my life. Decided not to set it private so that the silent readers can remain annonymous (and i know one of them is definitely my family hoho)
Well, blogging to me is just to express NOT to impress so i dont mind if it doesnt reach any numbers, at least it will keep my writing ‘free’ of ‘numbers’ that i hate so much (i hate maths and anything related to numbers, thats why i took mascom so that someone else do the numbers for me hehe)
Right, since i came back, these are the things i notice:
1) Malaysia is HOTTER than ever…!!!!! Its like ‘kemarau’ and miracoulously i start to take my shower 3 times a day instead of lalalala (like in Cork, hiks!) I just realize that i have to take a bath now that i can’t escape with cold weather to hide my ‘ tak mandi pagi tapi mandi ptg atau malam’ hehe
2) I have to iron my cloth everytime i go out which is annoying and time consuming coz in Cork, i dont have to iron much except my scarf coz most of the time id wear jackets to hide all the crumples. sigh.
3) No more tambang bas ‘mahal’ or ‘mahal’ food though some of it is expensive but at least its not as expensive as here. Hallelujah ! (did you know that it means Allah including Ole?)
4) I can eat whatever i want without looking at ‘E’ something in the ingredients (there are certain Emulsifier that contains gelatine etc with code name starts with ‘E’) bcoz its definitely Halal unless you buy something thats obviously Haram. hoho
5) I can’t take picture freely without asking permission or secretly without anyone notice because i look Malay (i am pun!) because if i did then ppl will think that im a stalker or weirdo or some ‘x pernah pegang kamera’ kind of person by the look of that little school girls i saw at USM mosque learning how to pray with that little white telekung…Aaaaww…!!! (they were soooo cute!)
6) I am a stranger of my own country, lots of changes within the last time im back, political problems as usual (which i should have get myself updated since that im changing to Journalism. Shoot!) including all my friends who might be busy with their final year project while myself is left without classes until next July (i miss going to class huhu). So, sometimes i feel a bit neglected and some of the friends i used to know is acting differently but whatever , i dont care, thats their problem not mine.
7) I need to get around more often to get used to the way round USM & Penang since that i can’t even remember which bus goes to which block in USM huhu Kuning? Hijau? Biru? sigh~
* * *
So, yeah…pretty much adapting right now other than endless jet lag hehe so to those coming back for Summer, watch out! 😉
