One thing in common with this picture is how being ‘white’ are advertised as beautiful to sell whitening products. Strangely, some ‘white’ people prefers tanned skin, finds it cool to have slightly darker skin. On contrary, the opposite are happening in this side of the world. During my undergraduate year, my group made a mini research on whitening products, and we were shocked to find out about the content of dangerous product available in the market with whitening related product. It is okay to want to be beautiful, but i do hope that consumers do not fall for such advertisement.
It is much better, safer and healthier to take care of our health, through proper exercise, healthier eating & cooking habit, also a good rest. I may not be the best person to ask for health advice, so i would suggest you refer your doctor (And not Dr Google …these Doctors have studied medicine for most of their life more than those who take a few minutes to write that post to sell their product, not everything on the internet are true, verified or even safe!) for diet advice because not all products in the market are actually safe and suitable for everyone. What works to others may not work on you, there is no quick way to lose weight and if there is, it is unnatural process that may come back in the long run (in the form of other medical condition) from what we consume.
Its a public responsibility for me to share this because there have been a growing concerns on how easy people fall over the internet when it comes to health. And I congratulate doctors who take the time to explain about certain issue related to current health issue, keep up the good work. Though it is understandable that although there may still be superstitions and misconception about certain health issue, they may come from a background that do not have access to such knowledge that the doctors have. Some probably grew up from a background that do not use chemical product and opt for natural/homeopathy option, and a lot of other contributing factors. So we can’t entirely blame one side or another, when we are two separate individuals coming from various background.
What matters is where do we go from here? Does it change the situation if we keep on blaming the doctors or government hospitals for everything that is bad? The reality is no private hospital wants to be responsible for anything that will make their reputation bad. And we hear different side of story from various side, and sometimes even patients, may not tell actual story. There’s a lot of interest at stake, and risks.
So when you read or hear something, if we dont know the truth, do not speculate, don’t even share unless you can really verify the truth and take full responsibility of the information you receive. For if it turn out to be false, there are a lot of people along the way you may need to apologize for spreading such news.Sadly enough, a lot of pages, don’t even take the responsibility to remove such postings and leave it there for the sake of Likes and Shares, and whenever something bad about a person or anything happens, there will be a lot of nasty comments below that I cannot stand reading any of them. Just because we don’t see that person in real life, doesn’t mean we can simply make our judgement on people when we cannot even guarantee how our life will end. There are actual human beings reading it, one single postings, can spread within a click away into millions of share. So be careful with what you share, it reflects who you are and effects those around us too. Small changes can lead to bigger changes, it all starts with us.
